'Cause I Like To Rant On Facebook

And sometimes I think the rants are worth reposting here.... as sort of mini articles... thoughts... just nudging your brain in a new direction, even for a second...

So, because I have been very absent on this blog as of late, I am going to repost a couple things I wrote on Facebook here! *winks*

~~~~~Rant One~~~~~
I came across this passage of Scripture today that really sums up what I feel about the things I see posted on Facebook lately.
"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmising,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain."
~1 Timothy 6: 3-6~
Maybe this is a bit deep but, I see a lot of arguing happening that is ripping friends apart, all over subjects that aren't important.... that shouldn't even be posted on Facebook in the first place.
At the end of the day folks, no matter what you post, it is just that~ another post.
[Which makes me wonder if I should even bother posting this. Lol ]
What will change the game is when we stop simply voicing our opinions, and live to be simply more like Christ.
We won't need to TELL the world about it.
The world will see it.
Besides, aren't we supposed to be living for God and not man anyways? So who really cares what others think and say?
~~~~~Rant Two~~~~~

I think it is really sad how much hate skinny girls are receiving these days.
Apparently it is now okay for the curvey gals to do to the skinny gals, what they use to be hurt skinny gals did to them.
This "Love your curves~ real men don't like skinny girls" trend is as wrong as the "Real men only like model figures" trend, & just as mean.
Ladies, the actual point has been missed by a mile here.
And that point is "Love yourself the way God made you.... and love everyone else the way God made them too!".
Thus ends my mini rant, but more like just a little reminder that not all of us skinny gals are vain and anorexic....
P. S. Real men don't notice you for your body anyways~ they notice you for your smile, your laugh, your attitude, your heart.....
