It was wonderful to have the time to drive through the park & do a little hiking.
The road was incredibly rough, but I wove my way around the potholes and over the Texas Gates, and attempted to miss driving through any cowpies.
The cattle wander all over. I suppose it's how the keep the grass down.
They liked to come right up to the cars.
If you head out to the park, dress warmly & be prepared for wind, even on a nice day.
