A Feathered Visitor

I looked other the living room window the other day & saw a rather chunky looking bird on the back fence. 

So I ran to get my camera & scurried out to get a closer peek!

As I got a bit closer, I realized it was a Northern Flicker, perched just above the "Welcome" sign I painted, happily preening away. 

He didn't seem to disturbed by me being close to him & in fact, turned around so I could see his front side too! 

Almost like he decided to pose for me. *heehee*

I am sure happy he did because I got these beautiful snaps! ♥
