I Found A New Reading Spot

Happy Sunday, friends. Oh my goodness, you have to see one of my new favorite reading spots in the city. Here is a little bit of ~Ambience Music~  for you. Let's go!

First you need to take a walk down shady-speckled pathways, alongside a stunning creek. As you can see, the sunny days we did get in June/July, were really quite flawless.

Then, you go around this corner, and discover the perfect nook to throw down a blanket, and sit a spell.

The creek is tiny, but it trickles and has the idealistic sounds one wants to hear.

I finally broke down and bought a hard copy, purple-bound edition of The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. I got a membership to a bookstore and used my welcome discount to add this special book to my collection. It is truly stunning!

Didn't come across any lucky four-leaf clovers, but I feel like it's always lucky to lay on your stomach and admire the colouring of these little guys.

Moments before a pinecone fell out of the tree and bonked me on the head. Cartoon style.

I decided to keep the pinecone, and it is riding around in my car to this day. I feel like it wanted me to adopt it, so I did.

Hopefully this photo can bring the sound of a creek to your mind, and help add some serenity to your day.

And then it was time to wrap up and go home, but I definitely will be returning in the future.

A Fall Themed Letter {Walks In Beauty Paperie}

Happy November 1st, my lovely blog readers! I can't believe how many of you still pop by my blog every single day... and I am so glad to see you still visit the Recipe Page too!

I actually assembled this letter about 2 weeks ago, just haven't had time to photograph or write it yet.... finally got the photographs done this week & thought I'd share it here on the blog, not just on my social medias.

Using the beautiful ~~Anne of Green Gables inspired stationary~~ {<----On Sale Now!} from ~~Walks In Beauty Paperie~~ (and it was possibly inspired by me too *winks*), it was so easy to create a charming, autumn letter for a dear penpal.

Ideas on what to include for goodies in a letter: tea, doilies (paper or lace), fake leaves/flowers/petals, ephemera (homemade or purchased), washi tape samples, postcards, tags, stickers...
Try wrapping your letter in lace, material, or tissue paper, tying it up with bakers twine or ribbon. You can even put a wax seal on the outside for extra charm.

Here is what the final results looked like:

Thanks for stopping by my little nook in the blogging world, I truly appreciate it!
Here is where you can visit the designer's blogging world:

Happy November, I hope you all are well & cozy & in good health! ♥

I'm An Official Rep For Walks In Beauty Paperie

So excited to be a bigger part of my dear friend, Nadia's, stationary shop on Etsy!

You will be seeing more posts like this in the future, as I review her products & try to convince you that you have to go buy some yourself. *heehee* Because you do.

This month she sent me some gorgeous fall themed mail & a couple extra goodies.

The exteriors of her packages are always pretty too~ cacti for me, this time around. ♥

The letter announcing her new reps.

The beautiful stationary sets! I am truly in love!
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers!"
How perfect to mix a fall theme with Anne of Green Gables. ♥

A little better close up of the paper.
Beautiful images, thick high quality paper that absorbs various ink types nicely, and the printing is quite crisp & professional!

Now, here is where you need to go find & follow her:

Please go have a look, maybe buy an item, favorite her shop, follow her.... okay well now I am just repeating myself!

Can't wait to get writing with these papers~ thank you, twinsie! ♥

Happy Birthday, Beatrix & thank you for sharing your love for the simple life & nature & all of God's little creatures with us. ♥

In honor, here is a previously unseen photo of me at Hill Top Farm this past spring.

And this absolutely perfect little video in honor of Beatrix just had to be included in this post. ♥

A Tea-Party Picnic

This past Saturday, Mom & I went on a tea-party picnic in the park.

I always mean to go & do such things, it just rarely ever happens...
And I somehow always pick the worst day to do it. *groan*

It was a really pretty view, where we were sitting!

The cupcakes you see are Oreo Cupcakes & will soon be featured on the blog, along with a proper outfit post/shoot.
